A Target Run

Lately Target has become my best friend, where I can find clothes that fit me like no other store right now. So when Parsons asked us to go to a store and try on their lines I was so excited. I went this morning and tried on several dresses from a line their to see how the different sizes in similar styles fit me.
I tried on two different styles: a more flowy dress and I natural waistline dress.
I found that I can wear both an XS and M for a flowy boho style that I am loving right now. The M fit me extra good, creating a more flowy look that the XS, which I am loving right now. I tend to order a size up for flowy dresses, so the rust dress was a perfect fit. I really liked the blush dress but would have added a sleeve to it, but I loved the feel of the stretchy cotton and the crochet lace details. Those details plus the blush caught my eye and had me out it in my cart. The rust dress I just adored. From the flow, the BOHO look, the material, and I appreciated how it came with a slip. Again, the details this designer created was what caught my eye and had me purchasing this dress.
For the natural waistline dresses, I tried both S and XS and neither of them fit me comfortably at the waist but they are beautiful dresses. The waistband in the XS was a little too tight, whike the S was about an inch too lose. Both dresses had slits, the same racerback top and an ooen neckline. Whike the fit of the dresses did not workout, i loved how the designer created the dresses. They definitely have a target auidence with this dress line and it is a perfect summer dress.
So while not every dress fit, and I only came home with the rust dress, it is great to know which styles are fitting right now, what sizes I should wear, and I found a new designer on top of that. As far as sizing differences, the sizes I tried on are pretty typical to the make and style of similar dresses I have bought at other stores, for the most part. There are some size M dresses that are hugging me like an XS right now. But that has more to do with me than how they make the dresses.
I really liked this designer and hope to buy more from her.
